Curtains Air Vents On Floor

I d like a clean look so i m tempted to just leave the drapes off but it looks sort of drab.

My floor vents are right where the curtains are but the way the curtains hang they don t interfere. At best you could end up with all the heat from forced air registers going behind the curtains where it can t warm the room. Directs air up into the room s instead of along the wall or into the curtains. Home depot should have them.

Has made my ac much more efficient. But fabric touching heat registers could at worst create a fire hazard. My living room has two supply ducts at the top of one wall and three return air vents on the bottom of each of the other 3 walls. Hang the curtains and see if they actually billow. The wall registers that supply warm air to a room are typically located on the lower part of a wall near the floor or on the floor itself. Two of them are annoyingly below windows that i want to cover with full length curtains that just kiss the floor or fall 1 above it.

50 people found this helpful. But if yours do then get some plastic things made to solve this problem they aim the air out into the room. A little pricey but exactly what i was looking for. I have 2 decent sized windows which have vents directly under them.

Floor to ceiling drapes or even drapes that puddle on the floor add warmth and color to your room. I m sort of at a stand still with decorating my living room. These work great for ac in homes with floor vents. This is a new home for us so i don t know if i just need to finish decorating or i really do need drapes.
