Commonly used to protect a buildings concrete slab from moisture rising from the foundations damp proof membrane is a versatile product and can be used for a wide range of applications such as creating a protective surface before laying laminate or wood floors. The epoxy dpm comes as a two component system. It is low odour solvent free and most importantly deals with constant low levels of moisture in concrete floors. A damp proof membrane dpm is used to create a barrier between a concrete or screed subfloor and the floor covering that is laid on top such as wood ceramic or quartz tiles laminate or carpet.

This barrier is intended to stop moisture passing from one to the other. Floor is screed finished. Damp proof membrane is used to protect buildings from moisture by creating a damp resistant barrier. Laminate is generally laid on a proprietary underlay which cushions the floor and acts as a vapour barrier.
