As the outlet connects directly to standard 68mm round downpipe most people choose this option which is perfectly fine for majority of domestic installations. Buildings with large or steep roofs will benefit greatly from the installation of deep flow gutters. 68mm downpipe is perfectly adequate to be used with deepflow guttering. Whilst floplast deep flow guttering does come with the option of an oversized 80mm downpipe this is only really necessary for very large or extremely steep pitched roofs. The fascia should be capable of supporting the gutter when full of water ice or snow. A good rule of thumb is to install one for every 35 or so linear feet of gutter.
